SHOPPING after WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY! Where and what CLOTHES to BUY!

Years go by!

At an alarming rate! It's been 3 years, 200+ pounds, 2 pregnancies, one baby boy, another overseas move and here I am!

Things are crazy. Becoming a Mother 9 months ago changed me more than I was prepared for.

But I'll update again soon!

7 months and Counting

140 pounds down.
60 to go!

Hi yall,

Sorry it's been so long again! Japan has captured so much of my imagination, it's hard to sit down and write. I've had a few more issues since getting here. Food is tough, I feel like it's time to start eating relatively normal however my pouch only complies sometimes. The same thing two days in a row usually ends with me bent over the toilet (thank god not public ones). But otherwise, I'm trying new things and still loosing weight. 16 pounds in the last two weeks. I feel like this is great because I haven't been able to get near the gym. My knee is still very sore and now I'm working 7 hours a day, standing on concrete as a makeup artist! So when I get home at night, I'm tired and trying to find something I can eat without getting sick.

I know it's going to be far better once we're out of the temporary housing and into our own place. COoking will be easier and eating more natural. I know that living off instant breakfasts and protein bars isn't exactly perfect.

I've met lots of new people who invite me out to these cool Japanese restaurants. I'm often leery of trying alot of new things but thus far, it's been pretty decent. Most Japanese restaurants serve extremely fresh and healthy food. I think, of anywhere in the world, this was the best place to come after surgery. Anyway, this is just a short update since I need to get ready for work!

Pictures! 75-90 pounds gone forever and ever!

So here I am. These pictures are from December, from the 1st right up until the 31st. I started out the month at about 75 pounds gone and now about 90...I feel amazing. I will write more but right now, it's Obama's time for my attention.

Much Love!

Well well well, it's been awhile eh?

I do apologize, not only to anyone who is reading, but also to myself! Traveling has taken a tole on my blog for sure. We left Texas December 1st, 2008 from there we went to San Diego, what a blast! Visited many friends, had an amazing time. From there, we headed to the Great White North on December 13th, 2008. I got super sick. I had a sinus infection and also really bad allergies. Unfortunately I stayed sick almost the entire way through my trip to Canada which did not allow me to do near the amount of visiting I had hoped to do. Family time was good, it was amazing to see the Beeson's and all my friends. From there, it was back to San Diego on January 3rd, 2009 and off to Japan on January 5th, 2009. But back on track.

I am pretty sure I'm nearly 90 pounds down now. I don't have a scale here, but my new clothes that were so tight when we headed to Canada, are now loose. It's pretty cool.

More unfortunate news is that the nausea has been very bad. Every time I eat anything, I get this upset stomach feeling. Not that it's "THAT" bad. It passes quickly. Unfortunately also now that we're in another country and staying in temporary housing; it's very difficult to find things that are soothing to my stomach. But after talking to Dr. Chang, he assures me it's normal and to try and get my 4 meals in per day.

My next task is to find out the Japanese word for Sugar and the Kangi writing so that I will know what to stay away from. But it's so liberating to be able to walk all over the base without huffing and puffing.

And I will have new pictures soonish. Just waiting on the cord to upload them to get here! I will start updating much more often now and also this blog will be about my Japanese adventure!!
